This customer contacted SERVPRO of Manahawkin regarding a water damage issue that resulted from a storm. Image 1 displays the area with the water damage. SERVPRO of Manahawkin arrived at this customers home, assessed the area and began to work. SERVPRO of Manahawkin first used a a special water extraction device that uses a combination of weight and vacuum to remove water from carpet and carpet pad. Utilizing this equipment, water extraction is maximized and drying times are significantly reduced. Afterwards they pulled back the carpet, removed the pad and placed drying equipment (this is displayed in image 2), so they can restore the carpet.
