It's Not Always Residential

Another storm on the books for 2021.  There have been a few storms throughout the county but New Jersey was just hit by Hurricane Ida, right in time for the Labor Day weekend.  SERVPRO Industries deployed storm teams consisting of franchises from all over the United States, those that were not affected and had the availability of crews and equipment to assist with the clean up efforts.  We here at SERVPRO of Manahawkin were ready and willing to help! We were called upon by a few northern offices as well as our local customers that have homes in North Jersey.   Three of our crews were deployed and have been working 12-hour days, with the goal of getting as many customers dried and cleaned as quickly as we can. Most of the customers we worked with were residential, having years upon years of storage and contents in their basements.  But we can’t forget that commercial buildings in the same area of those residents we helped, were flooded as well. Storms do not discriminate between buildings. We dried out and cleaned doctor offices, a real estate office, and other businesses. It is imperative for a business to run and stay open. Getting them back in business is our number 1 goal!
